Eugene Lee has a Bachelor of Sports Science and is a Level 2 accredited coach by the International Triathlon Union (ITU).

Eugene currently coaches at the Singapore Sports School and his charges have been represented at the Youth Olympic Games, World Junior Championships and Asian Junior Championships in Triathlon, Athletics and Modern Pentathlon. His coaching credentials for triathlon include consulting the National Team from the Indonesia Triathlon Federation for the Asian Beach Games, presenting for ITU Sport Development at the ITU World Triathlon Congress and working with over 200 age-group athletes who have finished on the podium, achieved numerous personal bests and qualified for the Ironman and Xterra World Championships.
